We just learned about these organic chocolates through Greenthinkers.org, which is full of fantastic green lifestyle ideas. Proceeds from Shaman Chocolates contribute to the economic and cultural survival of the Huichol Indians of Mexico’s Sierra Madre mountains.  We look forward to trying them!

“The Huichols are a small tribe of approximately 15,000 living in Mexico’s Sierra Madre Mountains, and are perhaps the last tribe in North America to have retained their pre-Columbian traditions.
